Most Bramalea pickups reach the 410 within a few minutes — it runs straight down the east side of Brampton — and follow it south until it feeds the eastbound 401. From there it's onto the QEW, tracing the Lake Ontario shoreline past Oakville and Burlington and around the western end of the lake into Niagara, about 118 km and 90 minutes when the mid-afternoon 401 isn't bunched up. The way home is the same line in reverse: QEW, then the 401, then the 410 climbing back up into your section of Bramalea.
