You're only a minute or two from the QEW in Lakeview, and from there it's the lakeshore run the whole way — west through Oakville and Burlington, up and over the Burlington Skyway with the bay spread out below, then around the top of Hamilton and past the St. Catharines vineyards as you come into Niagara. It skips the city-core traffic and the 400-series interchanges entirely, so the 96 km tends to land around 73 minutes depending on how the Skyway is moving.

The Falls are spectacular in rain and even in snow, and most attractions stay open. If a specific stop is closed we swap it — your chauffeur re-sequences the day on the spot.
It comes down to how many of you there are and how much you're carrying. Two or three travel comfortably in the sedan (from $580); the SUV (from $820) gives a family or a golf foursome more shoulder and trunk room; and the Sprinter van (from $1240) suits six or seven with luggage or a couple of strollers.
